Work - Colossians 3:23-24

BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND: Did you know that when you do your work for the Lord that is counts for eternity! This verse is a promise that God’s future and eternal reward awaits those who faithfully do their labor “as for the Lord.” Let me ask you, have you dedicated your work life to the Lord Jesus? Whatever you do matters to Jesus because He put you there and He wants you to represent Him well in the way you do your work and in the way you serve and love the people you work with! It’s a big deal!

PRAY: Lord, I spend lots of hours each week at my job. Help me to see that those are not hours that I’m “off the clock” with You! God, I want to honor You in my work. In my effort, in my attitudes, in my treatment of others. And to remember that Your reward is coming motivates me to serve You with a right heart right now! AMEN
