WHAT WOULD JESUS DO? Sometimes we like to try and find loopholes in God’s instruction to us to make room for our own ways and desires. So, God gives us an all-encompassing, no loopholes verse like this one.

This is a radical discipleship verse to be sure. Take time to assess all your words and deeds. Am I doing all in the name of the Lord Jesus, meaning all for His glory? This is the work that God is doing in us through the Spirit. He is making us more like Jesus in the way we live and the way we love!

 

PRAY: Lord Jesus, I need to live a more “no loopholes” kind of life for your glory. Right now, I have too many words and deeds that don’t measure up, don’t honor your name. Help me to continue to grow forward so that my life is more consistent and more honoring to You. AMEN
