Romans 6:22-23

PASSAGE: Romans 6:22-23 - But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

PAUSE: There is only one guaranteed reality at the end of this life--life as we know it in our human bodies will come to an end. That fact is true for 100% of us. But what happens next will not be the same experience for all people. There are two potential outcomes. Some will await judgment for their sin which resulted in their spiritual death, while others will be given new life because their debt has already been paid! Jesus’ gift is free and results in real life, new life, eternal life! As surely as death is guaranteed in these bodies, we can receive the 100% guarantee of eternal life by placing our trust in Jesus. He is the only way! Die to your sins, follow Him, and receive the free gift of eternal life.

PRAYER: Lord Jesus, I was spiritually dead and without hope without You! But You saved me by grace, and I will serve You forever! Amen.
