Ephesians 2:10

When a person gets saved by grace through faith (2:8-9), that is not the finish line but the starting line, the entry point into a beautiful new position and relationship with Jesus Christ. We are not saved by good works, but we are saved into a new life of doing good works. These good works of living well and loving others are empowered by the Holy Spirit as we walk in faith and obedience to our Lord Jesus! This is what we were saved for!

PRAY: Lord Jesus, I thank you and praise you for saving me by your gift of grace! And I praise you that you did not just leave me where I was but that you grow me up into a vessel that you can use to demonstrate your love and your way to the world around me. Continue to do you good work through me. Amen.
