Building blocks preschool

Building Blocks Preschool has been a local partner of The Chapel for many years.  Building Blocks is located in the Brookmill Community in Fort Wayne, Indiana and the building blocks ministry goes far beyond the walls of the preschool.

Through programs like the Backpack Roundup, Project Wishlist, empowering women, and a food bank, Building Blocks is helping the Brookmill community to feel loved and supported throughout the year.  In the preschool setting the children hear bible stories daily and pray regularly in addition to the preschool curriculum they receive.

By providing a consistent, quality education, Building blocks is equipping preschool-aged children with strong social skills, tools to make healthy choices, and good learning habits in an effort to break the cycle of poverty.

The Chapel comes along side the preschool and Brookmill community through their Backpack Roundup and Project Wishlist every June and November, in addition to serving with volunteers multiple times a year through Go Days.

The Chapel is blessed with the opportunity to support Building Blocks twice a year through the Backpack RoundUp and Project Wishlist.  Be a part of these two collections over the summer and in the fall by picking up tags from the Event Center and purchasing the items on the tags.

A few times a year The Chapel sends a team of volunteers to Building Blocks Preschool to help with some maintenance in and around the preschool.

If you have a love for children and feel gifted Building Blocks loves it when volunteers come read to the children. If you love to serve but are not as comfortable interacting with the kids they always need volunteers to help with daily janitorial duties.  If you are interested in serving in either of these capacities please email Bernice at [email protected]
