Genesis 2:8-9

In the beginning God created a beautiful place, a garden, set apart to be the special place in which God himself would fellowship with the first couple. A lot has happened since then. Humanity fell into sin. The world fell under the spell of the evil one. Jesus came and died for the sins of the world and the defeat of Satan. And in the end God will take us to another, even more beautiful garden, to dwell with him forever, uninterrupted by sin and death and enemy!

PRAY: God, your revealed story is bookended by the account of two garden dwelling places. We praise you that sin and death and defeat is not the end of our story. But in Jesus, your true story for us ends with us back in your presence forever. Redeemed, Reborn, Renewed. Thanks You Jesus!
