AMPD, the middle school ministry of The Chapel, is a place for every middle school student to belong, have a blast, make some great friends, and grow in their relationship with Jesus.

We meet twice a week: on Wednesdays from 7-8:15 p.m. and on Sunday from 9:15-10:40 a.m. For the summer months, we move Wednesday nights to Sunday nights (this runs from June 2 – August 4), from 6:45 – 8:15 p.m.

For more information, contact Tommy Lee Jones, our middle school pastor, at or call (260) 625-6200.

If you would like to sign-up for weekly parent emails, please send an email to Angela Miller at

cdyc ampd summer camp

CDYC (a/k/a AMPD Summer Camp) is a great time to get away from the routine of life and live on a college campus for four days and three nights. Meeting at Bethel College (Mishawaka, IN), students will enjoy chapel twice a day with a professional speaker and an up and coming worship band. Students will be encouraged in their walk with Christ and challenged to let that faith reflect in their relationships with others. In between sessions, they will have many opportunities for fun and fellowship.

AMPD City-Life mission trip

The AMPD City-Life Mission Trip is a four day experience in Fort Wayne and surrounding areas where middle school students get the opportunity to “Serve the City.” Students will stay at the old Taylor University Fort Wayne campus and connect each day with other ministries and organizations that serve the homeless, refugees, children of poverty, special needs adults, and small churches that could use our help. This is a perfect fit for students wanting to be God’s hands and feet in our own community. Applications are available by emailing Angela Miller at, and should be turned in by May 24. There is a Parent Meeting on Sunday, May 19 from 11:45-1:30.
