"Living Without- a nutrition support group"

The Chapel Health Ministry is launching "Living Without- a nutrition support group" beginning Thursday, September 9th @ 6:30pm in room 155. The goal of this group is to help individuals sucessfully make significant, sustainable changes to their diet in a fun, informal, and motivational environment. We will meet the 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month. Call Suz @ 625-6200 to reserve your spot today. This is open to The Chapel family as well as the community.

 

Recycle used ItemsRECYCLE USED ITEMS
The Chapel accepts all makes, models, & conditions of cell phones, chargers, batteries, accessories, & pagers as well as any used eyeglasses or hearing aids that you no longer use. We donate these to our local Lions Club to be reconditioned for use by people in need in Third World countries. You may bring your donations whenever it is convenient for you to the Health Ministry table in the Sanctuary Foyer.

 

 

 

Recycle used ItemsCaring for Aged Love Ones
Caregiving can be challenging as well as exhausting. In order to help you navigate successfully through this time, we invite you to attend our “Caring for Aging Loved Ones” support group. Please contact Suz Blaugh at 625-6200, ext. 249, for details. We meet on the even months, typically on a Monday evening at 6:30pm. Contact Suz @ 625-6200 for questions.

 

 

 

Blood Pressure ScreeningsBlood Pressure Screenings
Each Sunday, The Health Ministry of The Chapel offers free blood pressure screenings from 9:30-11:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary foyer by the left staircase. A health professional is available to answer health related questions at that time also. Feel free to stop by and take advantage of this valuable service.

We are currently looking for a handful of health care professionals who may be seeking an opportunity to volunteer in our Health Ministry. If you are interested in serving others at The Chapel in this capacity, please contact Suz at 260-625-6200.

This ministry is designed for those individuals with health and/or activity limitations to stay “connected.” Weekly, we send timely, uplifting information to you to help you stay encouraged and informed about what is happening at The Chapel. Please call Debbie at 625-6200 for details.

 

 



Maintain Your BrainMaintain Your Brain
Have you ever wondered what you could do to minimize your loss of brain function? You are invited to join us the 1st and 4th Wednesday of each month @ 11:00am in room 90. This program utilizes fellowship, and fun interactive  games to stimulate our brains and keep them challenged. This offering is open to The Chapel family as well as the public. No registration is required.

“Maintain Your Brain” will meet Wednesday, August 5th & 26th from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. in Room 90. No registration is required.

 

 

Visiting Important Persons V.I.P.V.I.P. (Visiting Important Persons)
The V.I.P. Ministry is The Chapel's visitation group for home bound individuals. The Chapel believes that every person is important...If you would be interested in sharing the love of Christ with others through the gift of a visitation or know someone who would like scheduled visitations please contact Ron and Natalie Kerr at 432-8763. We will “equip the called” for this life touching service.

 

 



Wellness from WithinWellness from Within: Conquering Cancer With Hope
WFW is a unique ministry for men and women who are dealing with cancer diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. Our primary focus is to come alongside those with cancer, their caregivers, and loved ones to offer hope and practical tips as they navigate through their journey with cancer.
